    graph for projectile...

I wonder if some people read what they were actually plotting... HORIZONTAL VELOCITY VS RANGE. Horizontal velocity (y-axis) is CONSTANT!!! Therefore it's a straight, flat line!

was quanta stuffed or just me??

Exactly. They're the most interesting things... About how DeBroglie showed Bohr's 3rd postulate, how the Rydberg equation was formulated from Bohr's postulates, etc... I was all ready for a standard model question, or even something on Heisenberg and Pauli.

So does everyone agree with my multiple choice answers? :D

    graph for projectile...

I used 1m/s, then 1.85m/s then 3m/s. So effectively I had 3 different flat lines of different lengths on the page...

b.tchy question - syclotron or whatever

NICE!!! I am so relieved :D I read somewhere that synchrotrons work like linear accelerators so I used F=ma. But I put a sidenote about centripetal force in a different case. I hope they exclude the sidenote.

hehehe I didn't even read Jacaranda and I knew that for some reason.

Quoting p213 of Jacaranda: "Glass used as a shield between the transmitting and receiving loops blocked the UV." :D

was quanta stuffed or just me??

No way, it was easier than any of the past papers' questions on Q2Q. Much much easier. The 8 mark question was basically: Reactor components, give some info on nuclear fission (i.e. use the equation from before), then show how they control reaction (i.e. absorb all but one neutron per atom of...

b.tchy question - syclotron or whatever

Wow someone agrees with me!!! Yes, it depends on the way the electron is accelerated around the synchrotron. I used F=ma in my other explanation, and I'm glad someone finally agrees with that as they boost LIKE LINEAR ACCELERATORS.

    graph for projectile...

The bunch of straight lines of different lengths looked stupid but they were right :P I spent some time thinking about this too... Because it's horizontal velocity versus distance, and horizontal velocity is constant, i.e. flat line.

Did Anyone Get Confused By The Wording Of The Time Dilation Question

I initially substituted the wrong t values for stationary and moving t and received 8 or something... Then I checked it and saw that it should be 16.67 (or something like that), because time goes slower on the space shuttle.

b.tchy question - syclotron or whatever

Umm that's one of the main points of the question. As mass increases, force must increase. Velocity is part of it though...

    graph for projectile...

what's this? The distance vs time graph? The speed is just the slope of the graph which was something like 1.85m/s. The graph just looked like a bunch of straight lines of different length :P

    Yep :D

    2003 Mathematics Paper is Standard??

If someone tells me it was 'easy', or 'average compared to past exams', I say: "Bullshit", followed by "Fuck off".

lol, i just can't help, the excel book is so dodgy :P

If I had twice the amount of time to do the Physics course I would read the Jacaranda book completely and know it well. However I don't have the time, plus I'm not a native speaker of English so it's hard to get through all the jargon.

There are some strange things throughout excel, but it's a decent text overall.
