i actually thought it was quite difficult. having different 'angles' left the door open ajar for interpretation, so should be interesting for the essay. but yeah it couldnt have been an easier stimulus for the story!

in the past (2001 or 2002 can't remember), 73/120 raw mark has been the cutoff for band4/5 EDIT: to be exact: In 2003, a raw mark of 73/120 was aligned to 82%, and 65.7/120 was aligned to 79%. keep in mind though that was 2003. will differ this year

your internal mark has nothing to do with it... its your rank. say you are ranked 5/5, and your 5 exam marks together form 100, 99, 98, 97, 96, then your 20% becomes 96 because you are ranked 5th/last
