well.. i guess.. but i still wouldn't "aspire" to get into UWS, when there are better unis offering the same course with higher cut-offs like the UTS Design degrees I hope to get into.(And is easier to get to):bomb:

lol since you asked.. Don't get freaked out. it'ss 90.15 for Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design @ UTS 98.75 for Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design/International Studies @ UTS UTS Design degrees are extremely popular and hard to get into :(

yes.. UTS's Design degrees look really good. (They are all very popular too considering how high the UAI cut-offs are) Interior Design is also a good option for those interested in film & theatre set design etc :)

i still would choose uni instead of tafe, as with the majority according to this poll.. as a bachelor's degree is a higher qualification than a tafe certificate/diplomas, in the same nature that a master's degree is a higher qualification then a bachelor's degree :)

i went to the Open Day last year (will go again this year :)) and Interior design sounded really nice. It's not at all about interior 'decorating' as some people may be confused about, but it is more about designing the interior architecture. Apparently architects no longer design the interiors...

i also would love to do this course. i cant wait :)

uni of course :) tafe/private schools only teaches you the practical, uni teaches both the theory and the practical. obviously making it a better choice for those who can achieve the high marks :)

i think its hard.. lol.. i had ppl in my class that were coming in the top 5 and only 2 made it (including me) my art teacher said about 1000 applies each year and they take about 200~250.

hello did anyone else get selected for extension 1 Visual Arts course?

i watched my name is kim sam soon and my girl. they were both so good :)!!

my sister did last year. :) She was very talented though. (She got band 6 in Visual Arts and really high average at COFA too I think a Distinction average) Some of her friends tried out too and I think one or two didn't get in but thats cuz they werent that good anyway lol.

i want to do Design @ UTS too :) Either in Visual Communication or Interior Design. Fingers crossed for acheiving the UAI required:) Second option would be Design @ UNSW and the UWS option is really depressing (I didnt even know they had design until today) :confused:
