How to get higher marks in english!

So what's wrong with leaving a line between paragraphs? I've ALWAYS done it that way and have never had any complaints about it. On the contrary, I thought THAT was the standard procedure. In fact, I thought it was ettiquette. Is there some sort of HSC policy governing against it? Please fill me...

Astro dot point: Cluster age from H-R diagram?

Well first of all, it does help and it IS in writing so thanks Danger. Appreciated. Whether it's decent or not, I wouldn't have a clue. Do you think it would satisfy....oh I don't know....say a 4 - 6 mark question? I can't tell whether it does or doesn't. I'm not even sure if you're able to get...

Astro dot point: Cluster age from H-R diagram?

There's a dot point towards the end of the Astrophysics syllabus: Explain how the age of a globular cluster can be determined from its zero-age main sequence plot for a H-R diagram. I've asked my tutor, my teacher, other people but everyone's given me a very practical answer to this but...

    how to stop story telling?

I used to do this a lot too freaking_out. There's a very simple answer to your question which is so obvious that nobody bothers telling you this (Generally speaking). You have to assume that the marker knows your texts (even your related material) like the back of their hand, and they don't...

Has anyone put down a law degree at UOW as one of their preferences? OR medical science? OR the combination of both? Just curious to know.

    Syllabus notes?

Hello. Has any one got syllabus notes for the Physics course, in particular for Ideas To Implementation? I had a look at some notes on the site, but no offense, they were quite shit. The ones on the site for Chemistry that are in word format are great. Something that basically just goes...

Am I in the only class in this world studying Jane Eyre???

I thought so. It's there, in the course, but just my luck that I'm stuck with it! It's all right actually. I didn't mind reading it, and in fact enjoyed it since I read it in the holidays at quite a leisurly pace. BUT the fact that there are very limited resources on it sucks!!

    Practical Exams...?

Yes I know, and thank you, but I didn't think that I would necessarily get the same reply for Physics and Chem. I thought their pracs would be of different structures, hence the exams would be of different structures and hence you would probably go about studying in a different way as well...
