let me add this....what if you come from overseas after yr 6, then it's pretty hard to go into a selective school esp. if u know nothing about Asutralia's education system before hand. by the time u'll realize u should try for a better school, it's too late...that's sort of my own story.

commerce....hmm...it's not exactly HARD...but also depends on who's teaching it. You should have interesting teacher teaching commerce. For computing, teacher should be ignorant enough to ignore what u r actually doing on the computer.

lolz...if u think tht's lame, get this we did boxer shorts, a skirt, a toy for a 3 yr old kid, a top, a bussiness outfit. in theory work we did surface decoration techniques (this was interesting) and all the other stupid stuff like putting a button, zipper, using sewing machine and stuff.

that used to be the case....but i think it's not anymore.

by "upcomming HSC" if u mean us, the yr 10ys.....then WE DON"T LUV SC......it's just sth we got to do...that's all.

weather u go to a dumb school or a good one.....it doesn't really matter now...coz u r given an individual UAI...it's not based on your school's over all performance anymore...so...i don't think u should care about others failing or passing.....just concentrate on your own self and c how well u...

in computing studies we did study word and excela nds tuff but only for a term...them we studied stuff like Q-basic (veryyyyyy unnecessary) a bit about hardware....powerpoint and graphics (morphings and stuff). As for my electives...so i do computer studies, commerce (it was nice in yr 9 but...
