I've tried both ways ie. George Booth Dr (Sugarloaf) - Edgeworth - Glendale - Wallsend - Jesmond... or John Renshaw - Hexham - Sangate - Callaghan... they work out pretty much the same distance-wise but I hate John Renshaw with a passion so I mostly go over Sugarloaf... awesome fun bendy roads...

I think thats just about my worst nightmare! :eek: Trust me I'm trying to stay as far away from frogs as possible... I was considering researching one for our aust. fauna pressy but then I remembered that's mr moron's specialty and he'd probably pick up on all the holes in my argument lol

Yes, yes you can. :D I borrowed a book for almost the entire of last semester until someone requested it right before exams. The library usually has 2-3 copies (sometimes more) of most textbooks so if your book gets requested, put a hold on one of the other ones! :p

That's correct, it is your responsibility to decide when and where or even IF you do decide to buy textbooks. Most courses will provide you with a list of recommended texts sometime during your first week of lectures, and even though the United Campus Bookshop online (www.ucb.net.au) does...

I think you meant Martin Freeman as Arthur :) ... quite funny actually cos as I was reading your post I was thinking Freeman would be stacks better as Arthur than as Ford. But yes quite looking forward to this one... hope it can live up to the books.

C13 (behind the forum) is alrite... you can usually get a park down there right up to 11am... only takes bout 5 mins to walk to Hunter from there as well and pretty sure its all day, I never had any probs. Pretty sure C7 is staff parking, but i've parked there before, again no probs. I agree...

Definately loose-leaf paper... 1. As already mentioned, if you miss a lecture you can simply copy the notes later and put them in the right order. 2. If you want to lend notes to a friend you can give them to required pages rather than your whole book. 3. No need to remember which books to...

Did anyone else think the final show was utterly stupid, or was it just me? It didn't seem to answer anything?!

Sometimes they do have specific tutes/labs for the different degrees doing the course, for example, last semester in STAT1070, B.EnvSc. students had a different comp lab than B.Sc. students. Whether this is the case in your situation, I don't know, but I'd check it up if your still unsure.
