In prelim... maths, and I loved visual arts. Really wish I hadn't dropped it now :( And I have to agree with most, English is the most god-awful subject

Shit. There goes any satisfaction I felt. If 300 is average, coming first in a school in the 600's would be bottom of the class :/. Although our year group pretty much kicks last year's ass

I did the bare minimum really - assignments, homework, and study the week before exams. Also working, because I like me the money :] There's no need to put a hold on your life for two years, have fun and get a job. A job is probably the best thing on your resume, better than a 99.95 ATAR. Plus...

I agree. Biology is actually a really good subject, and interesting as well. And doing subjects by what you're interested in generally works out better than just picking subjects because they scale well.

It is a situation that could be good, or turn out terribly wrong. But it was practically one on one before anyway - a perk to a non-selective school I spose. The 3u class only has 5 in it as well :]

I'm also ranked first, but only out of two :P And to make matters worse, I think the other student might be dropping. And that brings on a whole new round of questions... like is it bad or risky to be the only one in the class? Cause I can't compare myself to anyone else, and have no-one to fall...
