    The Woolworths Thread

I used to not mind so much with fairly empty trolleys or when there was nobody else coming through, but the supervisors have really been pressing the issue - last week was "We'll put you through this time, but we can't from now on" but this week it's "none at all"

    The Woolworths Thread

At the two stores I've applied at I've been told that they don't look at online applications at all. I applied online with nothing for three months. Applied in the store and had a phone interview two days later, and a job 4 days later.

    The Woolworths Thread

We had Part I: Welcome, dvd showing the store, "how did you feel when you first approached the store", environmental sustainability, company values, looking good, management structure, responsibilities, what is expected of me, first impressions, customer service, move for life, display...

I had the same. Phase I and II, all theory and a general tour of the store, then straight onto registers to figure it out. :P But we're in the only store in the area, so it might have been different... I had my whole induction on one day (8:30 - 5:30) in the store I was to be working in...

But then can I register for both the woolworths shirts and the petrol shirts with the same details? If so - what's the problem mentioned earlier? :P

I'd just call them and be like "I was really tired and just clicked the wrong one, can I change it?" They should be able to fix it... So do you get different employee numbers for each position you get with a woolies company? Coz I'll be starting a second job with petrol soon... Darnit, that...

    The Woolworths Thread

I would rather have more hours than less... I'm not sure I understand the last sentence. So, say I have 35 hours at the supermarket - can I then work whatever I want at the other job? Or only 3 hours? This is my first job(s) so I'm not sure how it even all works.... Sorry if I sound like a...

    The Woolworths Thread

My application was completely different to the ones I've read in this thread. I was called, had a phone interview, asked in for a 1-on-1 at 8am on Monday morning, started induction (with a total of 4 people: myself, two other checkout chicks, one nightfill) at 8:30am the same morning, finished...
