It satirises the american dream and their way of life. It also predicted the demise of wall street in the 1930's. The ideas are still relevant today aswell. It probably isn't the GREATEST american novel, but it does make a good point about the USA

Yes and no... Yes: it prepares you and may give you vital skills for the next year, some course work is useful for yr 12 No: Marks obtained don't count towards anything, courses are duller than HSC, dont want to burn out

Ive been pretty good...Pretty quiet atm...Just finishing off a Module A speech... Have fun with the SOR exam... My exams start 2 wks Monday...So not long after yours...
