    Unsw law

OP did you get that letter sent out from the law faculty?? It said with your atar, and a credit average, law is 'guaranteed' in 2011. Now i dont see how they can guarantee it, seeing as its supply demand, but youre just off it, credits and even a pass will get you into law... But credit average...

    UNSW Law to USYD Law

Yeah I was toying with the idea at first. But after receiving all my unsw letters and enrolling, I dont think theres much to really complain about unsw... Mustve just been early jitters about being away from mates and home-as in travel time is a bit longer. Danke bryandawn

    :D Who LOVES their course?

International and Global Studies at USYD It's an arts course, so I can pursue subjects that are intellectually stimulating, while the core units are career orientated, so I hope that when I graduate, it'll be good for getting a job (hopefully i make law second year transfer too) while still...

    Preparation for Year 11

Year 11 as a preliminary year is good for experience, it shouldnt be a hugely packed year of intense study. Otherwise, you will tire yourself out by november and will dread the actual hsc. As you were in year 10, with a bit more emphasis on study, finding what works for you and how to maximise...

    marketing as a major

I dont think so, marketing and actuaries seem a bit diametric. I hate maths to the point that it makes me sick, so my brother suggested, while still sticking to the commerce line of work, that I do marketing, as its for the 'westernised asians' who prefer english Like yeah actuaries and...

    Formula sheets

I wouldnt know from personal experience, but I know before my brothers actuarial/applied finance exams, he was packing heaps of notes into a 'crib sheet' as he called it, double sided, split into columns, minuscule writing. This was at macquarie

    Tanning: yes or no

It sort of depends, not on the physical tanning but how you view it?? Cos i've tanned heaps due to sport and the copious amounts of time i spend outdoors, from rowing and my exposed knees during the rugby season :O If you feel like you need to go to solariums or to the beach to even out a few...

    Starting to freak out..

Better to freak out now rather than right before your hsc exam like i did Its good though that you are aware of the immense work load and do not put it off. Appreciating how much or how little time you have left is also a good reality check, cos I was for the greater part of the year, under the...

why do so many people hate hsc english?

I absolutely love English-People on this forum hate it because they are maths people (?), sorry to say I looked at the resources section just a few minutes ago, at some complex worksheet, and it made me ill just thinking about maths. It's good though that you appreciate english. Certainly for me...
