What Prelim. chemistry concepts do u need for yr 12

Prelim was just the foundation of the Year 12 course. Year 12 is just gonna be the topics learn't in prelim just expanded. I'm pretty sure you need a good grasp of the main concepts learn't in Prelim for HSC. Of course there's gonna be loads more new content that the prelim content wouldn't be...

year 10-11 transition..anything to look out for

Even though year 11 is supposed to be pointless you will feel a slight change of pace than the junior years. Ye and try to experiment with studying. Other than that nothing much changes.

    Peter is Panicking for SC

I'm pretty sure they don't give you formula's. If you want just look over some of the formula sheet's your teacher has probably given you. All in all the School Cert is something that in the future you will come to understand how much of a waste of time it was.

    In search of some advice...

A little more never hurt anyone........i think. Hmm well seeing your subjects you seem to be english orientated but still wish to continue maths, and seeing as the maths is only 2unit it seems that your not that good at maths, or something.. soo you could just do more maths. I mean seriously...

So what's the best antivirus to download?

NOD32. All the rest have shitloads of problems IMO, either not a good detector, or using too much RAM.

    Australian Science Olympiads

If your doing the HSC in 2009 how come you're allowed to go to the Bio summer school, I thought it was restricted from Year 12s, either way dang man nice work getting into bio.. that exam killed me

    Physics to Bio?

Wouldn't you still need to do physic as a bridging though, since i thought that most engineering courses has physics as assumed or prerequisite, so your still gonna have to do it, unless I'm wrong. Might as well do physics now instead of wasting your hols and doing it.. well that's just my opinion

what is the best way to study for...?

The best way would be to do past papers, then exercises on the topics that you didn't do so well in, I don't really know about self-teaching but if your diligent enough you should be able to go fine.. but you will really need someone else's insight into many concepts of 4U. About time...

what is the best way to study for...?

I Don't really know about the first two, but one thing that will definetly help you with self-study would be to closely follow the dot points--all of the dot points, and write notes on them. For the practicals i suggest that you find a textbook which goes through the practicals and study them, I...

    How will my subjects scale?!

For the poker face i suggest you to watch the movie '21', which is about blackjack and counting

    4u maths?

You shouldn't really be asking this.. 4U Maths are for people who are truly interested in maths and keen on learning it, the scaling is just an added benefit and it's not really if your in the lower half of the group.. But if your keen and unsure about taking the risk of 4U thats another story...
