    What's your skin care routine?

Clearasil Ultra Cream + Gel Wash twice daily. Twice a week I use OXY scrub. OXY is better though, built for men.

Proving the Volume of a Sphere using the Shell Method.

That's pretty much what they're doing, but they're skipping the lim dx->0 SIGMA from y=0 to y=r as this is basically equivalent to the integral sign, and it's a pain to type in latex. I still write it though.

Keeping track of things other than the HSC?

Seen a 9am=11pm kid with breaks for toilet and lunch/dinner. How the fuck do you tabata every day? 20 hours a week is pretty easy. It's like 3 hours a day, 7 days a week. That's just hw/assignments. Then agan I'm terrible with hw.

General Q on integrating trig powers.

Copy and Paste it into your post with Latex tags around it. Generally stop the moment you get gjdgjd + k, but if gjdgjd can be simplified easily, then do it.

General Q on integrating trig powers.

All methods should lead to the same answer. If it isn't, you are doing it wrong.

    integration question

I believe only 4U strictly requires it, but it wouldn't hurt to do it in every exam.

    HSC Timetable 2010

Can't find mine LOL. I just randomly remembered it. General rule of thumb, it should start with 2008 (well it does for me), or whichever year you did your SC.

Thoughts on the Half Yearly Exams

Clearing this up. Last year the Media (read 85th kid) in JR got 99.4. The average is closer to ~98ish, mainly because of outliers that get in the 80s and drag it down. In 2008 the lowest was 59. Exclude him and the average jumps to near 99. Also I'd rather be a homogenous 99. Gets me into...

    Atar guesstimate

Don't listen to this dumbass Year 11 fuck. That said, I wouldn't say anything above 70, although that'd get you a BA/BSc at UWS. Nothing more though. Unless you turn it around bigtime.

Thoughts on the Half Yearly Exams

Lol that standard of teacher. She's good but can be a bit PMSy. The test was out of 60 though, so I think x jiim got 36? Anyways, Ruse do not teach above and beyond the syllabus, their tests just stretches the limit of what is in the syllabus and often forces you to draw on 2-3 topics together...

Does anyone think they messed up choosing subjects?

True, just that for most people cramming a textbook and doing lots of multiple choice/short is easier than learning stuff that continually changes (Eco) and writing fucktons of essays and getting ~95. Also it helps that tutoring is available on every street corner for the 99+ combo. Also...
