a 60 in general maths would contribute more than 50 in physics dont think that doing physics, chem etc is instant hsc success.

yeah happens at mine to my teacher says the ones who mark it look for originality so i write my own and practice writing as fast as possible so i can do 3 supplementary texts instead of two.

80 in general maths and 80 in legal or business will contribute similarly to your uai. Even if 81 or 82 in general maths = about 80 in legal or 79 in business, it's still probably a lot easier to get that 82 in general than 80 in legal.

it scales roughly the same as business studies and legal studies, but it's probably easier to get a high band five in gen maths than those two.

the way i think of it is, if you don't need maths for your prospective career but you're good at it, general is the way 2 go. should be easy to attain band 6 which wont scale down!!

yeah...im on 90 but there are about 10-20 people on like 89-88 top is on 98 lol. would that 8% difference make much difference in the end? 2nd is about 93
