Question 8 a) it asks , For which value of x is the derivative, f ' (x), negative? Well first derivative determines the gradient, i.e Slope. Shouldnt the answer be x < 1 As after x = 1 the derivative begins to increase meaning +ive slope. it is only negative for less than 1

Re: Would this be enough for a band 5? BUT, im estimating your internal maths mark to be around 66. With a low band 5 mark in HSC. You will probably have a total of low band 4 for maths :D nah man, you will do good, i estimate 95+ ATAR
