BSc in 2yrs instead of 3yrs

He never mentioned anything about 1 year though? :/ All in all, I think it's pretty naive to look to complete a degree in 2 years, whilst still getting the HD average for med, when many struggle to achieve this over 3 years. I'd be interested to know if any past Australia university student...

Impact of Uni Choice on Career Prospects

This topic inevitably gets a run every year, however it's good that people are actually asking questions rather than making assumptions or falling for whatever is presented to them. In my opinion, it can depend on the profession/industry you are looking to build a career in. As melsc pointed...

BSc in 2yrs instead of 3yrs

Aldehyde, it's simple. If the B.Sc was able to be completed within 2 years without massive sacrifice and overloading, then they would have designed it as such. It's 3 years in length for a reason. University study is far different to that of High School.

    Student Politics

Yes, 7% is a good turnout. Bottom line is that the majority of students wont involve themselves in student politics because they don't consider the candidates policies relevant. It will always be like this.

    CA Achievers program - 2009

CA = Chartered Accountants. No point in slamming the program just because it doesn't offer what you are after. Pretty funny that you seem to have missed the whole point of the program though.

The University of Newcastle Art Society (ArtSoc)

:uhoh: Nah, it's good to see some students getting in there and forming some faculty-oriented societies and clubs. Good onya matey! Although it seems a bit ambiguous as to what ArtSoc stands for. I understand it's about creativity, although to draw student into becoming part of your society...

    When Will You Move Out?

In some respects, I wish I still lived at home. It'd save me a shitload of cash. But there's something awesome about being able to invite people over to your house and not have to dodge your parents. All in all, I think the cash problem will be less of an issue next year, when I kick into 9-5...

What course has the highest average pay to graduates?

Just head down to the local TAB or pokie den and invest your money there instead. Forex trading is interesting in theory, but don't be expecting too much from an investment point of view. Pretty difficult to squeeze out arbitrage and can be a very slippery slope.
