The most obvious reason for income inequality is simply the difference in factor income returns for people's contribution of resources i the production process. Co-op Program Interviews!!! Who received one and for what?

xrztx, there are plenty of advantages that a co-op has on a cadetship, and also plenty of disadvantages, it just depends on the person. The variety of companies you do work with I believe are better than working with the one firm, and whilst they are not obliged to employ you after uni, having...

I don't think si I'm afraid, considering the interviews are conducted by someone from the academic staff of the faculty ur applying for and someone from the sponsor company. I was actually able to get my interview time changed, so if you have rung them and told them your case I'm sure they...

    Help the new member.

No there is a small difference in them. Current transfers are funds transferred where no specific g+s is provided in return. For example, funds paid for insurance claims and money taken out of Australia by developing countries in the form of foreign aid. Capital transfers however include the...

Need help on Balance of Payments

I would say that trade policy is an area of microeconomic reform, and so any policy which aims to improve international competitiveness and thus imrpove the CAD can be called microeconomic reform that will affect the BoP. Examples are the automotive industry tariff cuts and the textiles...

    Foreign Borrowing

Perhaps because under a floating exchange rate system the BoP doesn't affect the money supply and so does not have a direct impact on the level of aggregate demand?? I think to call this a cushion is a little sketchy.

    Foreign Borrowing

Can create a cushion for external shocks? I'm not sure it has that ability as I remember writing about how a disadvantage of a floating exchange rate wasthat it exposes the economy more to external shocks and could have drastic consequences. Perhaps you are thinking of a managed floating...

    Direct Investment

Important not to confuse portfoli investment and finance as well. Finance trends generally deal with portfolio investment in the short term that are for speculative reasons where as portfolio investment implies a long term investment, used for saving money.

Co-op Program Interviews!!! Who received one and for what?

There was a one in six chance berfore we were accepted for an interview though. Although I guess it may be one in five if the people with more than one interview are taken into account.

    Co-op and double degrees?

I thought I remember looking at a sample program where there wasn't enough room for another major. Although actually that was for actuarial studies where they had to get exemptions, so maybe you can do a double major with others.

    Co-op and double degrees?

No you can't do a double major either theoretically i think. You choose subjects from other majors within the commerce degree to fill ur units of credit.

Co-op Program Interviews!!! Who received one and for what?

I play a lot of music for the school at mass and in bands and the school band and stuff and a bit of debating. None of the formal Duke of Ed stuff. I don't actually play any sports either so I don't know what they were looking for. Maybe it might have been that I was a winner in the UNSW...

Co-op Program Interviews!!! Who received one and for what?

There are no actuarial studies candidates who can help me out? I realise that I am competition so why not get rid of me but I'd probably still do the interview, I'd just spend $500 on a plane ticket and board my cruise at New Caledonia four days later anyway.
