Indeed. One fifteen year old at our store works a 9 hour day on Saturday and then another 8 on Sunday, so I don't think this is correct.

I might be wrong, but additionally, don't casuals PPT (thanks for the correction, Townie) have to get 10 hours a week of paid work, or else you'll be paid for 10 anyways? Or have I pulled that one out from somewhere?

1.) Automatic. 2.) They're at your 4th, 7th and 11th week. At these dates, your manager is meant to sit down with you and give you feedback/allow you to make comments/etc., but historically I've found it rarely happens. The 11th week date is when your probation finishes.

Last week was a long weekend, so you may have got paid for Monday. Do you normally work Mondays?
