    Accounting Degree

    Finance is most common as it has some natural synergies but on the other hand, it's become a bit too common. I'd challenge status quo and wonder if one of the other disciplines like sociology may potentially be more relevant to forensic accounting and be a point of differentiation.

    I started flying premium economy on SIA when I took my wife to Paris and it is nice being able to pick your meal, and get that slightly better service when you want extras (I love cup noodles). That being said whether it's worth the double/triple price is another matter.

    I didn't even realise cybersecurity had a degree... makes sense I guess, but I thought it would've been a major. That being said, given the relative infancy of this, I don't think the degree makes as much of a difference as it would in other fields.

    Depends what kind of career/role you want in the future Op. Sounds like you're very heavily leaning towards finance though and whilst accounting is the natural combo, it also comes down to what kind of role in finance you'd want to move towards... and in some particular roles which are industry...

    I'm a fan of the success one past hsc papers with model answers. I even found my old copy when clearing out my parents' house the other day!
