    Office 365 for iPad

I thought I would post an update, I'm still using the K480 a lot at work and love it. It's a little on the noisy side but it's the perfect keyboard which doesn't interrupt workflow as I change between devices, and better yet, it holds my iPad up either portrait or landscape in case I want to use...

    Ace your internship (Big 4)

I think it really does vary between managers/seniors- the more experienced managers know how much they should delegate, how often they need to check in on things, how to tell if the person being delegated to knows what's going on, etc. That all being said, a key thing which matters at all...

Dealing with job rejections and bitterness?

I guess look at it from another point of view then- the people interviewing you are representing their respective companies/firms who have each invested significant dollars of their graduate recruitment budget into these scholarships. Whilst the individuals may be chillaxed themselves, there is...

    WIFI Broadband HELP!!

TPG customer service isn't that bad when I've dealt with them, but their speeds weren't great either.

Dealing with job rejections and bitterness?

There is a lot of great advice in this thread from the more experienced members on BoS. For what it's worth, when I was applying for entry level positions in accounting, I was knocked back from two of the Big 4 firms- I didn't even get an interview despite all the "networking" events I had...

What is the BoS equivalent for universities?

Let's not forget there are university boards on Bored of Studies, and generally speaking, you can have subject-specific discussions in the relevant university's faculty forum on BoS. For more general discussion on disciplines/focus areas (e.g. Commerce/Business) there are also the...

    What is uni commerce like?

You pick a degree (e.g. Commerce) and then pick specific areas to specialise in. There are some subjects which are core to Commerce regardless of what your majors/specialisation is (e.g. basic accounting, statistics, finance, etc) but then you branch out.

I finally drove a V8 turbocharged convertible... ask me a question.

Tyres definitely squeal very easily in this car. The thing which shocks me is how light the car felt although my uncle warned me not to try to correct too much with momentum against me eg weaving through traffic at 180km/h. The engine felt more lively than the C63 IMO especially with the turbos...

I finally drove a V8 turbocharged convertible... ask me a question.

Malaysian roads are a bit dodgy in some places and when climbing unsurfaced slopes or over gravel, I had to raise the car up to avoid damage. That's when I realised it was really hard to find the setting to do this!

I finally drove a V8 turbocharged convertible... ask me a question.

After spending quite a bit of time thrashing a new SL63, in the spirit of two older threads, ask me a question. http://community.boredofstudies.org/505/cars-automobiles/102925/i-finally-drove-v8.html...

So what are you guys playing at the moment?

I'm 27 and when I don't have to do work, I find myself doing mindless activities (e.g. watching TV or surfing net). Playing games requires concentration :( Although when I was in Jakarta last week the arcades were so cheap and I wanted to see what the new Initial D was like compared to when I...

So what are you guys playing at the moment?

I think I'm getting too old for gaming :( Everytime I say I will play a game, I end up either surfing net (e.g. when waiting at a cafe or airport) or playing an iPhone/iPad game (e.g. Asphalt 8 or PvZ2). My 3DS XL and PS Vita seem to follow me but remain unused :(

Last movie you watched? And what you thought of it?

Paddington bear. It wasn't too bad actually. Not as kiddysih as I expected and was just an enjoyable simple story.

    What is uni commerce like?

I think 50 page reports is something more for a large group assignment or a thesis! Most of the assignments I had which were not group, were very strict on word/page limits (typically 3-4 pages max). As others have mentioned it depends what you plan to specialise/major in, but for what it's...

    Ace your internship (Big 4)

But it's true! (congrats btw) Most internships do not include formal classroom training and instead are more focused on on the job coaching. i.e. the associates/senior associates will coach you on what you need to do. Having some idea of what we do beforehand (i.e. assertions) will make you...

    Office 365 for iPad

I bought the Logitech K480 in Singapore for about $50aud equivalent. This is more of a desktop keyboard for someone with multiple devices as it's quite heavy and designed to connect to multiple things easily. I bought my girlfriend the Logitech Type+ keyboard case for iPad Air2 which was about...

    Office 365 for iPad

I guess so. I put my hand up to travel. Don't get too worried. I doubt third party will exceed first party quality at a cheaper than first party price if you're trying to find an exact replica of the Surface Pro keyboards. That being said, you could've just used an ordinary Bluetooth keyboard.

    Office 365 for iPad

Not too bad. I was posted to Manhattan a few years ago and I remember back then I was amazed that my internet speed in my apartment was 40Mbps down and up- and it was convenient for Facetime and sending videos to friends and family back home. For what it's worth though, the internet speed in...
