It's the same thing as a cadetship. Basically it's a full time job aimed at accounting students whereby instead of doing the standard business or commerce degree over 3 years, one of those years becomes two years part time (i.e. a total of four years) and you work full time during that period.

Depends on the company and the role. I've heard even in some accounting roles they can cull based on D average. But for the most part unless you're going for a technical or highly competitive (ie MC, IB or front office) role it won't really mean much other than giving you a slightly higher...

^ True, that's why I ended up going for the 3DS XL rather than 2DS. And the bigger screen was amazeballs to play on. But that being said, I find the 2DS is far more comfortable to hold especially when lying on my back in bed!

I believe it's because the higher calibre cards actually attract different interchange fees because then customers are hypothetically "better customers" in terms of affluence and likelihood of fraud or credit risk.

Buying from a diamond wholesaler/importer so it's a little different. Funnily enough she said if your Visa card is Platinum, Signature or Black then you have to pay 1% surcharge otherwise no surcharge. Unfortunately I have one of each but no "normal" Visa cards :( AMEX was out of the question too.
