    Questions about driving.

Agreed. It's annoying when you're waiting for a gap in a busy roundabout because people don't indicate to let you know they're exiting before your entry.

    Questions about driving.

Didn't this rule change a couple of years ago? http://www.rms.nsw.gov.au/usingroads/roadrules/roundabouts.html

How long does it take to be able to drive decently

With experience you learn to balance it, and where needed, prioritise the important things (e.g. driving in a complex situation or difficult conditions) and shut out the distractions (e.g. by just not replying).

How long does it take to be able to drive decently

I was really only confident after I had done a proper 50 hours. Some of the tips which I had was learning to drive with background distractions (e.g. radio, background noise, etc) once I was able to control the car properly. This made the jump to P's and driving in the real world a lot easier. I...

Is HD average much more employable than D average Commerce student???

Unless they get really involved and do a lot of other stuff. Then they just pwn.

Which one would be better out of these two work exp, to land a grad job???

^ agreed with above. To answer Op's original question, it really depends on what you learnt as a result of both those experiences and how they are relevant/beneficial to the firm you're applying for. At this level though, there's no such thing as irrelevant work experience because it's the...

Is HD average much more employable than D average Commerce student???

Wouldn't be able to give you a definitive answer- but most graduate recruiters (in any industry) have a pretty good understanding of what the different grades reflect at the respective universities.

    Cadetships 2014

It's also not recommended to be doing full time studies whilst working full time and hence why it takes you an extra year to finish your degree (unless you overload).

    Cadetships 2014

It should fit in fine and you'll need to be upfront about it with the people you work with if you are offered a cadetship. Just keep in mind that at times you may need to be flexible.

Is HD average much more employable than D average Commerce student???

If it's a firm/company which is big enough to need WAMs to do culling, they have enough experience to know what the WAM means for each educational institution.

CA Program - Ask questions, get answers! (new and improved)

Gets you a candidate learning pack (I think it's in soft copy now... but they've switched back and forth a few times over the years), attendance at the focus sessions which are now delivered both online and in real life (and includes additional material/questions), and the exam. Some people...

AWD vs. 4WD vs. FWD vs. RWD

I was able to skid my Evo in the dry quite easily after I had it tuned and turned stability/traction control off. The factory tune needed it to be wet to do anything dangerous.

AWD vs. 4WD vs. FWD vs. RWD

Golf GTI gets tyre spin way too easily in my experience when I test drove the V and VI. I didn't feel that confident driving it and having to baby it. That being said, my RWD Benz requires a bit of a light foot too otherwise you'll go nowhere. I personally have had a lot of fun driving RWD cars...

Some roads that seem like fun!

How times have changed lol... that area also became full of police on a Friday or Saturday night before people started moving to OP. That being said, I had a lot of fun in my Civic on GG. The Evo really struggled with the large turning circle. Being so far down, cold air is always good though...

    Cadetships 2013 thread

All it did was say that I was keen on the industry. Didn't mean much and now that I sit on the other side of the table, I wouldn't give it a lot of weight. Heck, I'm lucky I didn't get asked about what I actually did/learnt... that might've come off a bit less impressive!
