For you both are probably "WAM boosters". AFAS200 is meant to be incredibly easy for pretty much anyone to pass and do well. Heard MKTG127 has a lot of actuarial students taking it so has a relativelly high proportion of HDs. Did a similar subject (that if you do it means you can't do mktg127)...

It is possible to get a band 6 in standard mathematics. Study, do practice questions, and past papers.
