    What have you eaten today?

I'm bad. Working from home today my computer crashed so I thought I'd eat some crack pie.. and by some, I mean a whole slice. I've eaten popcorn, jelly belly jellybeans (ice cream parlour flavour mix), some pork and chives dumplings with noodles (home cooked!) and chocolate cheerios cereal...

It's good for boosting the ego though. When I was a trainee I was nearly $300 an hour and that was pretty wow, but once you become experienced and do the budgeting/WIP analysis you realise that charge out rate is a rather arbitrary thing and not really reflective of how much you get paid (at all).

What car do you drive? (the new one)

Got another photo off Tenchi... makes the car look so amazing. Also a bit clearer than my previous photos :)

Can I buy this for my first car?

And at that price it's a rip off. Plenty of other cars in that price range which will give you less hassles and won't leave you wondering if you made a bad choice.

I think this sums it up for your first few years as an audit graduate.

Is getting a 88 for school certificate science crap?

Pretty much. I mean it's a good joke if you don't do that well but at the end of the day if you're intending to go on to do the HSC, the SC results are quite meaningless. It's just a way to say you have some qualifications when you speak to potential employers/etc. LOL like me? :) I only got 2...

Have you read your texts for english?

What's your definition of pass though? In my opinion it's alot easier to do well in HSC than it is in Uni or post grad so you may as well try.

    Commonwealth Keycard Query

Nowadays there are plenty of fee free alternatives which offer visa debit cards. eg Citibank. Just be careful re other fees and charges which may apply.

I'm wiling to bet that's charge-out rate which is what is used to calculate how much to budget/bill clients as opposed to how much she gets paid. Even if it's $85/hour, recovery may differ (e.g. firm promises to do a job which takes 2 hours for $170; but it takes her 2 and a half hours instead...

Not sure where you got that from but I thought it was 5% from January 1, 2012 onwards > http://www.ato.gov.au/individuals/content.aspx?menuid=0&doc=/content/00291063.htm&page=30&H30 . But this is when repaying HECS debt through the tax system rather than with the university. I remember receiving...

Club Promoters no experience cash jobs meet new people become socially active

Not really, but even when I was younger and into it a bit more, getting 10-20 different people sending me a FB invite advertising the same thing and stopping me from seeing the real Events invites is quite annoying.

What type of traineeship? If it clashes either change classes or drop subjects.

Is it illegal to hide your overqualification???

I know people who have had to hide over qualifications to get a job but then when found out they get snubbed. Got to the point where someone even asked to have his name taken off the university website.

Club Promoters no experience cash jobs meet new people become socially active

I hate it when people spam my inbox on Facebook with invites to get on lists to go into a club or whatever.

    1/4 of shops shortchange staff

Scary but then I remembered I never use cash and get paid electronically which one would assume is always correct... But then even with payslips I still can't easily reconcile between my contract and cash in the bank though lol.

    1. You're young, I'm old. I started small too but then over time I realised that buying 1000-5000 shares at a time means that if something moves by even a small amount such as 50c which is quite easy on the ASX20 stocks, then I'm already making enough pocket change to buy something to eat for no...
