You will definitely be able to use the text for your HSC.
I'd double check with your english department before using it for trials, but it should be fine.
Technically you can still use it. However I would strongly recommend against doing it, as the opportunity to display original analysis is limited as well as it may be considered lazy. This will result in you receiving lower marks.
Given that if classical greek is a a continuers course then you would be expected to have knowledge of the ancient language before starting the course.
