I didn't do that well in 1131 :/ What topics do you guys think I should study/not study at all for MATH1231 next sem? (I hate matrices. Their applications are cool, so I'm trying to use that as motivation)
I can't find any societies that have classical music enthusiasts :/ Is there some sort of group like this? The parties and camps look fun yeah, but attending a nice classical music concert would be nice :) And if my piano abilities get better (Chopin's op64 no2 waltz is still giving me trouble)...
I want to choose a degree that not only lies in my interests, but can lead to a high paying, enjoyable job (yes you've heard this before).
I don't mind anything chem/bio related, which is why I asked my question. I've heard great things about biotechnology, and environmental science etc...

Find the coefficient of a3 in the expansion of (3 − 4a)(a − 3)^4
Can we just write out the general term for (a-3)^4 and multiply by (3-4a), and collect like terms?
BOS definition: "Identify issues and provide points for and/or against"
How do we do that for essay questions?
E.g. If the question asks to e.g. "Discuss the how connections to place can impact one's sense of belonging" should we include how connections can improve AND worsen one's sense of...
There are 9 (!!!) poems altogether, and I seriously hope they don't specify. One of our teachers said that Donne's poems can be treated as a single text, so does this mean that they won't specify specific poems (just like they can't specify Act 2 Scene 1 of As You Like It for AOS without...
I don't want to rote learn eco at all. I've already made notes, but how can I tweak them to make them more efficient. My notes are essentially reductions of the textbook -_-
Who/which group do you feel are given too much and too little attention today? This could give us a chance to discover some new tracks :music:
There are more to add to my "list", but I can't be bothered ravaging my brains.

The book doesn't have solutions for this particular question :@
Could one of you please post your solution/answer so I could check mine? Thanks :)
What musical artworks are you guys working on atm? :guitar:
Aside from my piano grade pieces, I've been (trying) to work on these ones (it's going to take ages to get them all down pat since I can only focus on 2-3 at a time).

Scriabin -...
Which course is "better" in terms of interest, usefulness to life/uni, fun-ness, challenge etc.
I looked through some VCE chem papers cos I'm that bored, and they seem to have content that's heaps more substantial and interesting than HSC chem!!
"The blackbirds sung their nursery rhyme songs to their children"
What technique is this?
It's likening the bird sounds of the blackbirds with 'human' music (for lack of a better description)
Metaphor? Simile? Parallelism? Something else?
What is the best way to memorise effectively i.e. large amounts in short period of time?
I think that there are 3 (4?) types of memory: Short term, medium term and long term memory (lol I could be horribly wrong here), so if this is true, then how can I use this to memorise more effectively...
