Ahhhhh okay - I was racking my brain trying to think of what CMS was. We don't have CMS here our alarms are just monitored by Alarm New Zealand.

NC8000 or someone else at Norwest - Do you know if we can access EBI from any computer or do I need to dial in to my PC at work to access it? I have tried the URL but it just comes up page cannot be displayed so I have a feeling it only works server side.

Man everyone in NZ won't stop complaining about our Vege prices. Apparently a handful of our growers complained to a Green Party MP saying they are being paid peanuts, and we are supposedly putting up our produce by as much as 500%. I just wanna tell them that is totally incorrect but I'd get...

Over here you only have to provide one if you are sick for 3 or more days. They can request one earlier than that but the company must pay for the Doctor's visit.

Those of you who 'confiscate items'...keep in mind that this is not school and you are technically stealing the items and if they take it further you could be in big trouble. Whether it be an iPod/cellphone etc, that item is the legal property of the employee, and if you remove it from their...

My first day at head office went well today. Pretty awesome actually. We're dealing with a media crisis at the moment. Apparently a grower has complained that we mark up our produce by as much as 500% and pay them, sometimes below their cost, which is totally crap.

My old store used to bag up all the draws, but when you only have 6 to do it doesn't exactly take a lot of time... :P Plus they bag express about 2 hours before closing, and then bag two large lanes and hour out of closing so in reality it's only 2 they need to bag up at closing.

At my old store we were prohibited to enter the store through the back gate. If the store was open we just walked through the front doors, if it was closed, there was a door at the side which was controlled via a proximity key that staff entered through.

Taking a walk round head office tomorrow. Don't start until Monday but my manager is showing me around.

Exactly, unless your manager is a complete dick head.

Strictly incorrect. You can take leave whenever you like, but your manager must approve it first. If there is cover then it shouldn't be a problem.
