Lol I might have to join so I can troll. I always use a debit card, but always use savings so it wouldn't affect me anyway. The way I see it is it is the consumers problem, not Woolworths'. I mean seriously, who pays bank fees these days? Most banks are fee free if you deposit $x/month (ie your...
I got mine paid out when I left, but I wouldn't rule it out actually. 250 hrs is a lot and it's an expense HR could do without. Think of it this way though, if you stay with the company, every pay rise you get your lump sum gets higher. So keep it if you don't need the cash I say.
How can you not eat before work? I couldn't do it.
My average day is 8am-6.30pm, so I have breakfast before work, break at around 11am (15 mins, usually just have toast or something), lunch around 2pm (1 hr if I'm lucky), meant to have another 15 min break but I just don't have the time so I...
Our Kmart is open 24 hours and we close midnight most days. So I'm not sure if that happens with us but I assume the store is pretty dead at midnight.
Maybe the next same badges we are getting in the next fortnight will help distinguish us from Kmart lol?
I like the renewal store shirts. The blue ones are really loose fitting. I have the smallest size and they are still way too big. I'm not sure what shirts management wear though.
I'm dissolving our partnership lol.
Hope he is holding up ok. Even though I have never met or spoken to him. I imagine it's not a nice thing to go through.
Found out today our store was no 1 in sales in the nation on Thursday. I knew we were busy, but still I thought some Victorian stores would have beaten us.
Well since the Coles thread is barren lol should post over here. In one word: crazy. Up until lunchtime it was busier than Thursday! You couldn't move because customers were everywhere, there were queues despite all 24 registers being open, regional manager popped in and was actually happy with...
Ahh the joys of easter. Did 7.30am-9.30pm, was ridiculously busy all afternoon. I looked at the sales at midday and saw it was only $120k, thought we might saunter to $300k because it didn't seem that busy. From 1pm until I left the minimum sales/hr was $39k. We will probably finish high $400's...
All our Coles bread is baked in store. I'm not talking about the branded bread, just the bread the bakers make during the day and the other stuff like donuts, hot cross buns, bread rolls, cookies etc. Surely they could mark that down?
Oh well better leave so I can get there by 7.30. If I am...
At Coles we aren't to markdown our hot cross buns. We aren't even allowed to mark down our bread. Does seem a waste as I know some customers specifically won't buy bread unless it is marked down because they feel they are getting a bargain.
Spare a thought for me and our $500k in sales...
