People in my year have already started booking their schoolies for next year.
I'm not going anywhere through schoolies, just gonna road trip to Melbourne with some friends and stay for a week or two after the HSC, but haven't actually planned or booked anything yet cos it's a long time away
In my year 11 advanced class, we have to choose five different texts for our AoS change, and I was just wondering if To Kill A Mockingbird is an appropriate text for a novel?
Thanks

The guy I like right now is 19 (I'm nearly 16), which everyone else finds a bit weird. But all of the guys my age are immature douchebags, so I find it a lot easier to talk to him. Age is just a number.
English - 85 (band 5)
Mathematics - 70 (band 4) - hahahaha all I remember about this exam is that I guessed most of the answers because I couldn't have been bothered.
Science - 85 (band 5)
Geography - 74 (band 4) - don't know what happened here haha
History - 87 (band 5)
Computing - 89...
Subjects in sig
Aims: Hoping to top my class in English - both Adv and Ext. Same with Ancient. Gonna be working hard next year methinks...
As for HSC subjects, I'm not sure because I haven't actually started year 11 work yet. I think I may drop from 2U maths down to general, but I came first in...
Keeping maths, science and some english work (like short stories that I'ver written)
But, I had great fun ripping up geography, PD/H/PE, commerce, etc books and notes that I have accumulated over the past four years.
I think I'll need one next year for maths seeing as we're doing a bridging course for maths right now (basically just extension year ten work that is included in the year eleven course) and I am freeeeaaaked out because I did 5.2 maths for year 9 and 10, and I'm going to do advanced next year...
Haha that one got me, too. I was like: what the hell?! And ended up writing about what they might use the sources for, forgetting I should have probably written which sources they would have used... oops.
The long response for Geo completely threw me off: We'd only had one lesson on it, with...
Haha same! Except mine was in the perspective of this old guy talking about how we seem to define our lives by time and suddenly we realise that we can break through the boundaries of time and get second chances, etc.
I probably screwed it up, but it said to write about an idea or moment, so meh.
No study for either exams. I couldn't find motivation to study for science, though I kind of regretted it when I got to the question about natural selection in the exam but I pulled through and wrote what I remembered my teacher told me.
If I fail, oh well..
Haha wow I didn't even think of buying textbooks for next year... I am so screwed for prelims and HSC haha
Anyway, I'm looking forward to
> Work experience - 16th and 17th Nov
> Formal - 19th
> No more geography, Australian history, health, PE or commerce!!!
> Bludging all lessons :]

I seriously can't be bothered studying
Though I probably should for science considering I went sooo badly in my trial and every other practice test I've done for science so far. Same with maths... I know it's all problem solving and whatever, but I really suck at all this problem solving...
+1 absolutely... I only just passed that whole exam with 63%.. i found it so difficult.. And that Greek mythology question was so stupid...
I hope the actual SC science exam won't be like that.
