Yeah pretty easy. I finished about 20mins early. I thought the listening section was easier than my trial and that's one of my weak points so that's good. Wasn't too sure about the last question on the 2nd reading section though where it was like what would this man think about their opinions.
The question said "At least" one other meaning that you could write Among School Children and one other poem or two others etc. I guess they did it because for the topic we are meant to study all the poems not just a select few but it certainly caught me out and a great number of other people.
B. A friend from the year above me gave me hers when she graduated and they helped me heaps so I'd like to pass mine onto a younger friend so I they can benefit from them as well.
Re: You didn't study after today's exam ?
I didn't. I figured there was enough time before my next exam to take a break from studying and tbh I needed a break after two days of English exams. I'll get back into it tomorrow.
Frankenblade and The Fiftieth gate were perfect -insert prepared response here- questions but Yeats was dreadful. They had to pick the one poem I didn't study in depth. Though hopefully a lot of other people struggled with that question too and it gets aligned.
Typing would be great for me. I've always been a slow writer but all this practice over the last 2 years has improved my speed. I don't think I could stand the sound of 100 people typing all at once though, it would drive me crazy.
I did "As You Like It" and what I'd prepared was more to do with belonging in relationships than place. I managed to adapt it to include the court/the forest of Arden but it probably wasn't one of my better essays.
It wasn't to bad but I had more difficulty finding techniques then I did in my practise papers. What texts did everyone choose for e? I did the image and text 3.
Short answer -> Creative -> Essay
Just the way it is set out. I read the questions/stimulus for the creative and essay in the reading time and let my subconsciousess work on them while I do the short answer section. It's worked for me so far so I don't want to risk trying somthing new and...
Well we don't do our exams sitting at the bar :)
I think there is a private room which we do them in so hopefully nice and quiet. I'm happy to get away from the school where you can hear the sounds of screeming/yelling/running 13/14 year olds who don't understand the meaning of 'exams in...
