    UTS Law to UNSW Law

What marks would I be needing to transfer from Med Sci/Law at UTS to Fine Arts/Law at UNSW? I'm assuming it is quite difficult, but would Ds get me over the line or are HDs the only way to be competitive for transfer? Thankyou!

    USYD or UNSW?

Which is a better university to study these courses in your opinion, and why? * Science/Commerce * Science/Arts

    General Thoughts: Modern History

Such good exam! The Cold War question on ideologies was the same as my trial question. And the Russia question on Stalinism was so open! Best paper I've seen imho.

Why are YOU stressed for the HSC?

I'm really not stressed anymore... the only reason I want to do well is because of that 'I know nothing to do this exam' feeling when it's right in front of you and then you write rubbish. Let alone I have perfectionist tendencies so the only pressure I receive is from myself. Parents don't care...

What regrets have you had when looking back at Year 12?

    1. Dropping extension history 2. Doing nothing for SOR1- it's such a bludge and could have been one of the most achievable band 6s 3. Keeping chemistry 4. Sticking with 14 units for almost the entire first 2 terms of year 12.

Changes to UMAT 2013 - Reading time, Sections not divided

I was dreading the change at first due because it requires you to constantly change your mindset. But, by jumbling the questions it actually keeps you more alert and less likely to lose focus.

    Year 10 Subject Selections

Would definitely recommend SORII. I go to a Catholic school too and everyone in 2u loves it. Majority of us in 1u, like me, hate it. 2 u is more interesting. Consider English ext 1. It's well worth it and a lot more interesting than Advanced. Modern is a hell of a ride, but you gain a lot...

How to conclude my english speech?

Re: How to conlude my english speech? Never conclude a school speech with thankyou..blah blah. It's really junior school-type speech writing.

    Regrets of Picking Certain Subjects

should not have done chemistry should have done 3u Japanese, and kept extension history

Can my sister do HSC at the age of 9?

wtf did I just read .

"Because you're in Yr 12 and you have your HSC"

My dad tells me to stop studying all the time. I stay in the 'study' room from the time I get home from school so they assume that I'm studying full out...when really fb is open and I have my ipod in. So at parent interviews when they tell my parents I need to stop "stressing" they think it's...

    Backup units?

what a gun for having the hardest subjects count haha
  16. E

    Backup units?

Is having extra units a good thing? Or is the time better spent on 10 units straight? How many units is everyone on and how are you coping?
  17. E

Where are you hoping your marks will get you?

Need at least 93.5 for UWS med... I think it's achievable, but after an imminent fail on the UMAT: 80+ for arts/science at USYD.
  18. E

What do you think is the hardest science?

I think physics is... I haven't done it at HSC level but when I did all 3 in prelim it drove me to tears :'( Out of the other two: biology is harder...it requires an anally retentive student and concise answering of questions. Chemistry is more about accuracy and proper exam technique.

I've had a change of heart, I suppose. There are bosers at Usyd? Media and communications? I don't know, maybe if I got in... but regardless I've heard usyd runs a really bad course and UTS would be better. A more flexible course like arts/science at usyd or international studies/science at...
