Yeah this makes a lot of sense. Any idea what the average salary would be compared to civil though? I've been looking around and there's not much info on software.
Also anyone on here that would argue for civil?
I'm doing civil engineering at the moment but I'm really interested in software.
Which one do you guys think is better in terms of job opportunities and money, though, and by how much?
I have a trash can next to all semester 2 units except for the one I want to drop (MATH1907). I want to swap it around back to the advanced instead of SSP (it ruins my timetable sooo much). Any idea why? Every other Sem2 subject can be dropped though. Is this just because I got invited to it?

i knew itttt! i have no defining qualities except my knack at predicting the weather horribly wrong ("looks like its gonna be warm today better wear my thinnest t-shirt!" fml), so idk how to say who i am

Ahh :/ yeah im doing an advanced maths stream. so i guess that makes it not possible again?
(Sorry for derailing a bit off the thread topic)
Ohhh okay thanks for the answer! Does that mean that MATH1004 would only be needed for programming, etc. (seeing it as would mostly be covered in MATH2969)? So, if possible, I can just go and do MATH1004 in summer school if I decide I want to follow through with programming?
I'm just really...
