You can't enrol for IR online if you're doing a combined degree.
I asked them through email.
Here's his reply:
However, despite that, I think you should still add your IR courses online, just in case. But if you're unsure, you can always do it during the enrolment session.
Hi.
1. Enrolment period starts on the 7th of Feb. Go on this website to see which date you can enrol: http://students.anu.edu.au/manage/enrolment-instructions/first-semester/
2. I think you have to stay in the same group for the whole semester.
Also, I have a question to current ANU/uni...
Yeah, ranking well at your school does not necessarily mean you'll get a high atar. Why not go to a tutoring college at an asian suburb (Chatswood, Hurstville etc). They usually give you mock tests and rank their students every week. This is so you can see how you perform amongst kids from other...
Call them up and make sure they send the offer letter to your email straight away. Double check with them that they have your correct email address. I'm not sure about the under 18 thing.
Call them and ask! It's up to you to find out, if you haven't been notified already. Also, call up each unilodge and ask them if they have vacancies. I know for sure that Academie House still has vacancies. It's off-campus but it's across the street from ANU.
Hi again. :D Nope, that didn't happen :/ I think they'll send it out tomorrow, since today's still public holiday. I've been checking my email everyday. Really annoyed, I just want to enrol and get it over and done with.
Nope. They promised they would send on the 26th of January. Which is strange since it's Saturday AND a public holiday. I think they will send an email out on the 29th instead.
Heya, thanks for the draft timetable. Looks good! :D
So you've decided to complete 24 units from a minor (since language is counted as a minor, right?) instead of an exchange or an internship program?
Ah, thanks for that! :D Seems pretty important, but I'm not coming down to Canberra (from Sydney) until a couple of day before Oweek. Gelato sounds good though :(
I'm not sure about Melbourne. But through UAC, I only had 8 days after main round offers came out to accept, reject or defer. If you stay in Melbourne, what degree will you be doing? I think you should come to ANU if you like diplomatic sorta stuff.
Edit: Nvm, I read it wrong. The actual...
On this page http://students.anu.edu.au/applications/ It says "After you accept your offer, your acceptance will be processed by the University and you will receive an acknowledgement of your acceptance." However, I received no such acknowledgement. So I decided to take matters into my own...
My friend applied after the guarantee period but before the actual deadline. She got her offer about 5 days ago. She only got unilodge though. Good luck. Be prepared to find alternate accommodation.
