Wrote outside the corners of a HSC paper

Pretty sure they cut off just the grey part near the stapling of the pages. Whole page should be scanned, otherwise they would've instructed students not to write outside the box. Don't sweat it :)

    Physics Exam Thoughts

Why are different frequencies used for Sector (3.5MHz) and B (20MHz) scans? Also, the polarity of P and Q? I got P as positive and Q as negative? Correct or nah?

    HSC 2017 Predictions/Preparation Thread [Physics]

yeah, hopefully the questions are not too ambiguous, but again... that's what makes the test hard and decreases the Band 6 cut-off lol. my prediction for 7 marker, superconductivity...

    HSC 2017 Predictions/Preparation Thread [Physics]

I wouldn't mind a 4 marker on one of the scientists (Goddard and the crew...) Also, do you think they would ask about the dotpoint which makes reference to Planck and Einstein's views on whether science should be combined with society and politics? I haven't seen that...

    Hard perms and combs question

    Hey, do you have answers?

    Atar estimate please

I don't think you understand good Sir. I'm basically telling you that my cohort's intelligence does correlate to high marks. But anyway, thanks for your help. Is it still possible to get a 90+ ATAR?
  9. E

    Atar estimate please

Why are you talking about a general case when I'm telling you that everyone in the class is smart. There's a year 10 accelerated student averaging 100%.
  10. E

    Atar estimate please

What if everyone is smart in the school? I get 70% in HSC papers. Almost 80% for Chemistry and Physics.
  11. E

    Atar estimate please

Maths is low, i know. But scoring 75-ish+ in HSC for 4unit maths scales to 90+
  12. E

    Atar estimate please

huh... yeah lmao... I copy and pasted the first one without realising my spelling mistake. also, how do you calculate it. I was expecting something border-lining 90's

HSC 2017 MX2 Integration Marathon (archive)

Re: HSC 4U Integration Marathon 2017 Also, does anyone have any 'not so complicated' reduction-formula questions? If so, please post. Im assuming Paradoxica will be supplying solutions xD <3

HSC 2017 MX2 Integration Marathon (archive)

Re: HSC 4U Integration Marathon 2017 Ooh, so for the HSC all i should worry about is a Trig Sub? As it wouldn't be right to be asked questions requiring the other two, right?

HSC 2017 MX2 Integration Marathon (archive)

Re: HSC 4U Integration Marathon 2017 Hey, sorry for being so bad at this subject, but how do you know to use that substitution? Thinking process? What are some key things to look out for when attempting a question?

    HSC 2017 MX2 Marathon (archive)

Re: HSC 2017 MX2 Marathon Hey Guys!! I am new around here, and not the best at this 4unit maths subject. When doing questions, I am not able to see the distinct ideas, and i get stuck, not knowing how to approach, or what the best and most efficient approach is. Any tips and help will be most...

    Other Pathways to Actuarial Studies

Taking relevant mathematics units? Wouldn't that consist of "Advanced Mathematics" courses, which require a similar ATAR for the entry into Actuarial Studies if i'm not mistaken. There's a great chance i am wrong so if anyone has the specific courses, please link them! :) thanks!

    2017ers Chit-Chat Thread

PE scaling is like General Maths scaling. In both, a raw mark of 90, will produce a scaled mark of 90. An 80 will usually scale down and scaling will try to adjust your mark to the cohort's median mark. And of course, above 90, you will most likely keep that mark unless its 96+ which usually...
