    EE1 Thoughts...

I thought the exam was really good. Very open. Allowed you to basically display everything you knew. I think they did well with English exams this year.

    Creative Piece For Genre?

Same. I liked the creative section though (this statement will probably come back to ahunt me now). I found it pretty easy to write and was happy with it.

    Whose ready and whose screwed?

Think about it like this: what you don't know now, you won't know tomorrow morning. You know where you went wrong in your trials, so you can avoid making the same mistakes. Ultimately englsh is just bullshit... albeit shiny bullshit, but bullshit just the same.

ooh... film... that's harder to finish the night before i'd think. i did a trio of short stories. my logbooks (2, i was so proud) took so long to fake... but as such were really good quality and v realistic. did my reflection in 15 mins and handed it in with one minute to spare :D

    Crime Fiction

I reckon go with what you know. As long as your arguments and points and links are strong and backed up by evidence, you can't go wrong.

Albert Speer only need to know up to 1945?

The topic is Germany 1918-1945 and the personality study is within that criteria. Knowing stuff about post-45 is all well and good... perhaps use it to round up your conclusion... but its not necessary and won't get you any extra marks.

    Australian High School subjects

I think it's good that these so-called "life skills" aren't taught in school. It's been said earlier, but I'll say it again that if kids are forced to learn things, they'll forget them as soon as they're not being tested on them anymore. Lexicographer made the point that after people leave home...

    Essay Structure

DEFINITELY link your texts. It doesn't matter what order you do them in, so long as it flows. Remember that links do not have to be things the texts have in common, links can also be links through CONTRAST. eg. "Change can be an intesely personal experience as shown through So-andso's 1985...

    Another question :)

No, you don't have to use inverted commas. You only use inverted commas in a conversation if its a conversation WITHIN another text form, eg a story, or if you're quoting someone in say a feature article or a speech (So and so once said "blah blah blah" ...).

How would i tackle this E.C essay question?

    obscure Lear productions?!

ANY production is fine to use. No matter how small or obscure (if a group of highschool kids put on a production in their middle of nowhere town that no one has ever heard of let alone been to it would be fine to use). ...If you feel you can use the obscure productions effectively, go for it...
