damn so much diversity, we just stick with C for most courses unless you want to go out of your way to pick something else
Well C is a good language. Easy to read (compared to C++) and it teaches about memory management, pointers and other stuff.

Also I thought you guys did Java for later courses since C doesn't support OOP.

Ahaha, Arduino was the language I learnt from my Y9 elective



Learn C, it's really user friendly, there's no non-sensical clutter or weird features, it's quite straightforward
Hmm yeah I think I heard that too, pretty sure C can't be used for anything because it's just too simple to learn, and there aren't any risks with corrupting memory accidentally, and also things like Scratch and Python are way too difficult for a regular person to learn

Nah people believed that C was a bit too hard to learn which is why C++ was invented.
