10 Units or 12 Units Better (1 Viewer)

Considering dropping to 10 units. Pros/Cons

Pros many more free periods to work on other subjects, less assignments, exams etc
Cons every thing will count towards ur Atar

But if you do well in ALL subjects, your wasting your time taking 12 units. If you're an all-rounder with good ranking in all subjects, dropping one that you don't need or don't enjoy will give you more time and less stress when it comes to exams and the HSC.

Most people take 12 units to back themselves up in case they don't do well in something they're unsure about (eg. 2U Maths... like me )

Depends on the person really, but if you are confident, doing 10 units could be beneficial.

10 units if you're passionate about your subjects and know you'll do well.

12 units if otherwise.

Seriously, it depends on a case-by-case basis.

everything will count if you drop to 10 units.

if you do 12, you will have to work harder.. BUT.. a 2unit subject (most likely the lowest scored) won't count towards your ATAR.

It is risky.
I am doing 11 units which is awkward..because my only one unit subject is compulsory for the hsc xD
