Yeah... in Arab countries, people pretty much live in villages, even in Lebanon, so most of what they're exposed to is their relatives as in cousins,etc. It's actually MORE common than you think.

And arabs have big families. Like in Lebanon I have like nearly 100 or more first cousins. Here, I have like 40... and then about that much in 2nd cousins...
and it's not like they're rich, they live in really poor standards of society, like you feel sorry for them.

When I read the title of this topic, i was like fuck its definitely an arab... even here, In australia, some of my cousins get married at like 17... the common thinking is 'better get them married before they get loose on the street' and that's for real, i'm just translating what the old people say.
