12 units including MX2? (1 Viewer)

Who here is doing/has done 12 units includig MX2? Do you reckon its a bad idea? i'm not sure what to do because i'm cautious about, you know, perhaps having that one bad assessment that may doom my HSC if i were to do 10 units, opinions?

10 units including 4 unit maths is not recommended because it is by far the most strenuous course in the hsc syllabus, and you may find you want to drop halfway through the year because it takes a looot of your time.

I did 10 units with 4 unit maths =]

Was a risk, alot of people told me, but a few other people i know did they same and everything worked out for them. Either way i hated whatever was on the other line.

IMO its safer to keep a couple of extra units. There's a couple of people in my 4U class, for example, who dropped their extra subjects too early, and have to keep doing it despite getting an average of 20-30%...

But of course it depends on the person. If you're comfortable in 3U then it's unlikely that you'd do badly in 4U.

Oh, and i had 13 units + MX2 but didn't do any work for japanese.

I'm doing 13units with MX2. Although I don't do any work for SOR.

13 units with MX2. Load was strenous at times, but worth it in the end.

yea i did 12units with MX2
it was fine and if u start feeling the pressure u can just drop something later... if u only have 10 units with 4u maths thats really risky
just dont slack off on a subject cause u think it might not get counted... cause u really dont know what will happen! and its really not that much more effort doing 12 units!

I am doin total of 14 units including MX2 =)

10 units with any subjects is okay as long as you know your stuff and know what you are doing.

As a matter of fact, 10 units of your best 4+ subjects > 12 units of your best 5+ subjects.

Nothing wrong with doing 12U or 10U with 4U Maths. It's whatever works best for you.
