16 Year olds doing the HSC (1 Viewer)

I know a couple of students that did units when they were 15 as well.

Yeah this isn't a hypothetical situation...I have heard of 16 year olds attending universities already. But most of the time its up to the BOS and School's discretion to allow the student to skip years...still a rather rare occurrence indeed!

Lol, and I was thinking how Baulko and James ruse students were so going around the HSC rules by doing like 4 units already in Year 10/11...and now we have 13 year olds finishing HSC by the time they hit 16

I only did 2 unit maths last year, but felt that I would have been able to do one more subject, I wasn't paying much attention to my year 10 work.

Hmm, nearly. Turning 17 almost two months before the exams. Otherwise, me too!

I was offered the opportunity to "accelerate" sometime just before or after I'd turned 12, but declined, so am thankfully doing my HSC at a more normal age.
