Me too. I'm shitting myself about the prospect of writing 3 essays in one exam.

lol i have only for advanced english... they jam packed paper 1 and paper 2 into a 2 and a half hour test >.<".... so now im studying everything in 3 terms in 1 night hahaha.... im getting turned off from remembering so many quotes and ideas for essays.... wish it was two seperate papers like yours ratcher0071

dw guys, it's only 2 hours for paper 2. if you know your stuff well it shouldn't actually be that difficult to write 3 essays on 3 completely different topics.

We only write 2 essays

One on our prescribed text (Fahrenheit 451)
And one comparative study of Othello and Primary Colors

I have 4 assessment tasks for english, albeit two being in the same exam. in the next week and half.

I'm not doing two papers for English this year - we're doing a Paper 1-equivalent. Not looking forward to next year though.

The BOS is currently considering merging the two papers into a single 3-hour exam, with Sections I and II common and a separate Section III handed out. This will only take effect from 2010 at the earliest though

wouldnt you be more worried about not being permitted to write 3 essays but instead an interview transcript for example?

Especially those radio interviews. They really take you by surprise if you've been anticipating for an essay.
