hi, i noe this qs shouldnt really b part of this thread but i have two qs and would be happy if some one could answer..
1. What does it mean if a course is a post graduate course? can u do a course for one year then transfer or do u have to complete al of it?
2. Is it true that pharmacy might become a post graduate course by 2013?or is that unlikely?

Postgraduate means, it's a course undertaken once you have completed your 3 - 5 year uni undergraduate course first. [It is not compulsory, and not many people do psotgrad study, as they can usually find good paying jobs with undergrad degrees]. Although A post grad degree will possibly allow you to be hired in higher positions and allow you to study "research" ideas. But will cost more time and money to complete, which is not necessary for most people.

You can transfer to a different course or institution after 1 year.

Not sure about pharmacy course becoming postgrad.

You can complete a b of pharmacy @ usyd in 5 years i think (including the 1yr training thing)
Or, you can complete any science degree and then apply for masters of pharmacy which will take 2 years (@ uts or usyd) to complete.
