can someone tell me how to get from: 12sin20/19.1682=0.2141... on the calculator. I get that. but how do you get from 0.2141 to 12.3637.. degrees. Its the sine rule and this question is question 3 in 2004. FML its simple i know. i just dont get it. mine goes to 0degrees and 12 minutes

wrong forum.. but i shall help you anyway.

to change from rad to deg you multiply by 180/pi

so 0.2141 x 180/pi = 12.3637 degrees

voila!

LOL I haven't seen the question but 0.2141 is the sine of 12.3637. So my guess is that you forgot to sine it?
Try sin^-1 (0.2141).
