yeah as one of my mates says, your success in the hsc is determined by the failure of others. :p

I worked my ass off, and 92 was then a breeze, so to speak. My technique....

Summarised my textbook (jacaranda) to about 50 pages in size 12
Added into that the excel textbook (adding another 20)

Learn the hell out of that. Do at least 5 practice papers for ur HSC and a few for your trial

Background computer knowledge helps... quite a lot. 80% of the exam was general knowledge I could have answered without doing IPT. SDD also helped for maybe 5% of it. Apply logic through what you learn from studying, and its all good...

Hey
yeh, i go to castle hill high school, a public non-selective etc etc skool....and in reply to a few pages ago, yeh i got 97 for dance, and there were 5 ppl in my dance class, we dont even have a dance room, and i started dancing in year 9....so i guess in response to ur question it doesn't matter what skool you go to really....depends on the individual and how hard u work!

Congrats on everyones results!!! haha, makes me worried now tho....i think our UAI's shall be scaled down a tad....or a lot!!!!
especially compared to last year....

anyways
You get that!

Congrats Spice Girl, I knew you'd do really well when I was reading your posts in the post-exam forums!

Also congrats to turtle, who I also happen to know was one of the top people in 4u maths (you should post your results and make us jealous!)

My results: (Exam/Ass/HSC)
Chem 75 / 90 / 83 (huh? did they lose half my paper or something? I've applied for a remark)
3u maths 92 / 92 / 92 (yay for only 45 mins of study/homework all year!)
4u maths 89 / 89 / 89 (I decided 4u was worth 4 hours :))
Phys 84 / 88 / 86 (quite dissapointed with this one actually, I screwed the exam up pretty bad)
Adv. Eng 84 / 81 / 83 (pretty good considering I didn't finish exam #1)

Oh and my UAI is 96.45, lower than I expected but enough for Dux of my school and 26.45 higher than what I needed to do the course I want!

Also, congratulations to everyone just for making it through!!!!

- David
