Ext. response, what fun..
Q26 - Describe Einstein's contributions to Special Relativity and to Quantum Theory and how these contributions changed the direction of scientific thinking in the Twentieth Century. (6 marks)

Q27 - In a particle accelerator called a synchrotron, magnet fields are used to control the motion of a electron so that it follows a circular path of fixed radius. Describe the changes required in the magnetic field when an electron is accelerated to near the speed of light. Support your answer with appropriate mathematical relationships. (4 marks)

I usually enjoy these style of questions, but im finding these extremely tedious. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

26.. just talk about the constant speed of light meaning time and mass dilation and length contraction
e = mc^2.. energy can create matter, explanation for the big bang
quantum he explained the photoelectric effect (go into detail) thus changed scientific thinking about how energy is transmitted... photoelectric effect is used in solar cells.. non harmful way of electrical production

and for 27 just equate qvb = mv^2 / r

as v ---> c
m ----> 99999999

thus u need to increase your magnetic field in order to hold up with it

sorry for the breifness.. i really cbf typing so much

hope this helps
