with all the control orders etc etc.

theres a bit relating to that in the human rights bit but i cant see any part for the crime bit?

hi there
i actually just answered this question myself --- and am going to post it up when i have time to type it...
if you are going to do anti-terrorism, discuss control orders. in relation to that, discuss jack thompson and david hicks. effective in that they may stop an act of terrorism, but they are pretty ridiculous.
then go on to discuss preventative detention orders. in relation to that, discuss dr haneef. effective and ineffective in the same ways.
