Nice work on winning a game against a team in the top half of the table. Would that be the first time Villa have beaten a top four team ever? lol. Villa are a joke mate lets face it. Every year they pretend like they will push for a European spot and then fade away into about 13th.

yep, next few years may see the rise of Villa and a top 5.

but it wont last. Man city and their owners will pump City with enough money to buy half of the players in Europe. if youve read british rumours in the news, you would have heard reports saying they have set aside something over 70 million (their money, not ours) to bring in a world class player. speculation says buffon, Kaka, Torres and that calibre of stars is on the shortlist

so while villa may be ok now, a few years down the track Man City will be the 5th big team.

that is, if any team will break the top 4

Villa are nothing special. And no, your not coming up for first place- your nine points away. You are just like the west hams, the portsmouths, etc. To even think that you will challenge for first spot is ludicrous.

lol to think there would be a top or big 5 would be a bit silly...considering there are only 4 CL spots...

there is always a team aside from the usual 4 that show good early form...but the table always finds a way of sorting itself
