I walked past the newsagency the other day and I noticed there were these new HSC physics books on the shelves. Has anybody taken a look or used them yet? Wondering if it might be worth my while to go get one.

Friend tells me the diagrams are alot better than the old books, but apparently he's spotted a couple minor errors in this revision.

He said they were really minor ones... like naming in the periodic table... and like one or two pictures that weren't there that were supposed to be there. Doesn't sound like anything major really.

omg, that looks so flashy that blinds my eyes! -jks

but seriously, that certainly looks so good. But would they have changed all the um...contents?

I don't really believe that excel covers all the relevant dot-points...but if they can proudly claim that "everything you need to succeed", it would be worthwhile to check it out, I guess.

I am off to Borders today.

Yeah bro, i have had mine since before trials.
They are quite helpful but not detailed enough to be your only text book.
And yes they do cover every dotpoint in the syllabus but not always very well.
