How can they 'Go' when they have already won and have nothing to 'Go' about?

And Hayne is out of Origin...

http://wwos.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=574655

Both of the teams were no real surprise tbh. Queensland should put together a more complete performace than they did in Origin I with the inclusion of Lockyer and Price, being bouyed by the Queensland crowd. I was surprised that Steve Simpson was put straight back into the NSW team without more of a warm up. However, he is experienced and has done it before.

the only reason I thought Simpson would be in is that he's a mobile forward, able to play in second row or prop. If the selectors wanted just a prop they would have picked Ogre or Brent Kite.

i was surprised the selectors went with gidley so soon after his injury. i would have thought they wanted him to play a few games to get him ready for the heat of origin, but gidley is about the fittest bloke in nrl. hornby is unlucky not to get picked, but i suppose he was under no illusion that he was only covering for gids.

jeez the roosters got touched up. regardless of the missing players, 42 nil is pretty dismal. it would have been worse if anasta didn't pull off a couple of try savers. but credits to the eagles, especially lyon's flick pass for orford to score, brilliant stuff.

I just watched the first twenty minutes of the second half, no wonder why NSW is down 18-0. There appears to be no ball control, no real discipline and no real direction from second receiver.

the following should gtfo of the nsw team

turner
wallace
buderus
hoffman
simpson
tupou
gidley

fitzgibbon shouldn't be playing at prop
bird shouldn't be playing at 5/8th

we need to bring in some proper prop forwards, eg bailey, ryles, o'meley, kite

dude, the whole team played terribly, except brett stewart . you are going to chop 7 players, 4 of whom are regulars, from just one bad game. i didn't see you asking players to get dropped after game 1, monday quarterback much?

this game was exactly the reverse of what happened in the first game. but when qld turns it on, its a record win for them. craig bellamy is to blame for the compressed defence which lead to 5/6 tries.
