Wow ours really pushed us. 2.5 Hours we had 1 essay on the holocaust, 2 extended responses on Romanov's, 1 extended response on Boxer Rebellion, 1 extended response on Beginning of 20th century, and a source analysis on Boxers and a source analysis on 20th Century...does that seem like a lot?:cry:
you did different topics to us, how much were your extended responses worth?
i think it seems pretty reasonable for the time period, but modern requires very dense and detailed answers so they're often really difficult!

umm each extended response was worth 15 marks, usefulness and reliability 10 marks each and holocaust essay was 25 marks. What i noticed after exam was that the top 2 students in the course finished it just in time (im currently ranked 5th) then the rest of the top 10 were unable to finish the last usefulness and reliability question. I know personally how much effort and detail i put into each of mine and i was moving at a considerably fast pace...for each 15 marker i wrote 2 pages for the essay i wrote 4 and for the usefulness and reliability i wrote 1 page....i was really happy with the content and structure of my responses and I wrote what i thought would gain me access to all marks...however with 5 minutes to go i realised i ran out time and couldn't complete my last source analysis....this annoys me because i know that so many other people were only able to finish because they didn't include the detailed content and structure.....

it doesn't really matter, unless you are going to use it as an indication to know what subs your going to drop or pick up.

I have received results for ESL and Maths
I do not think my ESL is so low - i got around 64%
however, i come 1st in 2U and 3U Maths - 97% for 2U and 92% for 3U
That's not bad :spin:
After holiday, the results in Phy and Chem will come

Does anyone know if we need prior knowledge (English Ext 1) to get into EE2 for year 12?
They're considering me for EE2 after they've finished marking our English exams :D ... but forgot to ask them if EE1 was a prerequisite...
I'll be dropping Business Studies either way - hate it.

Yes ext 1 has to be a prerequisite for ext 2

my marks:

Maths 3u: 93% => 3rd place
Ancient History: 100% => 1st place
religion: 94% => 3rd place
English Standard: 80% => 2nd place.

All good, except Maths. Maths was disappointing. I hope to improve more by next year

Great rankings, good work!
So I guess my school was referring to EE1... all they said was "we're considering you for extension English" :rolleyes:

hehe these marks don't count towards anything, but it's a great way to salvage some personal pride by kicking ass in them.
