What was the testosterone question/answer? (Everyone has done UMAT Now so it shouldn't be an issue). I remember it but I can't remember the answers/what I put :p.

Meh. Don't care about it that much. What was annoying was the guy at the microphone, telling us there were 10 minutes left. Just tell us that there are ten minutes left and shut the fuck up. No need to launch into a 60 second diatribe about not going back to past sections, or looking forward, or reminding us to check our work. 10 minutes turned into 9 minutes...by listening to him, and then 8 minutes, having to gain the rhythm of the passage again. :p
i so agree on this
hahaha XD

I KNOW RIGHT! He talked for a fucking entire minute and its like jesus you gonna give us that minute back where u ruined everyones concentrated cause you wouldn't shut the hell up! That really annoyed me for some reason lol...I mean sure stress the rules to us a few times but don't keep saying it! We are not idiots and we're trying to do an exam that's already hard enough the way it is, at our ages I think we understand the whole don't go back to previous sections already...time was good, but just say it and that's it...

yeah
i felt very strongly on B.
the other ones were definitely wrong while B could be true, because it said that the happily married man would more likely catch a disease if he had some argument or something.

argument-->more testosterone-->worse immune system

Please STFU, you sound like the biggest, cockiest douchebag ever. If you were my doctor I would want to stab you.
Please, my good citizen. Must all you simpletons generally assume that the response to confrontation is violence? If you would like to open a dialogue on this i would be much obliged.
I'll be off to sleep- play english boys touring polo side tomorrow.

Was it just me or when you left did everyone feel like, EXTREMELY relaxed. I left there and I was so relaxed you have no idea just this massive weight off my shoulders. Can't wait to feel how HSC is when that's finished.

All I have to say, it thank GOD for postgraduate medicine :)

Hmm like i said Sammy.. overall it was harder den medentry.. and i did all 10 medentry practice papers.
really? i think that the 1st and 3rd sections were easier than the medentry practice papers. but section 2 was unusually difficult, i think it was that lots of questions had two options were really similar and random vocab that i didnt really understand aha.

yeah that question was stupid. i think i said likely to get a cold but i cant remember anymore. i've pushed all that crap outta my head haha

I did the same thing.
Yep, that's what I did, too.

Happiness = less testosterone.
Less testosterone = better chance of avoiding diseases.

Something that causes happiness to go = more testosterone.
more testosterone = more chance of getting a cold.

It wouldn't have been any of the ones comparing athletic women to unathletic men - even if athletic women have more testosterone than the average woman, they wont have anywhere near as much as the average man.

I thought that also couldn't be concluded. Got the right answer anyway so doesn't matter I guess.

what i thought at the time, picking B:

testosterone level inversely proportional to strength of immune system, given (1)

aggressive behaviour is related to testosterone level

a happily married man will be much more aggressive after an argument

therefore testosterone level will increase

from (1) immune system will decrease in strength, and the man will MORE likely catch a cold now

------

not sure if, according to the info, the testosterone level should increase if one takes part in aggressive behaviour (such as an argument). i think the fallacy in B (if any) lies here
